Violist Jing Chen is currently completing her Masters of New Music degree with Barbara Maurer at Folkwang University of Arts in Essen-Werden where she specializes in contemporary solo repertoire and mixed media collaborations. She is passionate about sharing music education and performances with all audiences, especially young students like her younger self who face barriers to concerts and resources. She resides in Solingen, Germany where she balances her work in music management and new music performance projects.
